Julia is walking all over now, and is even trying to climb! The stairs, on furniture, we’re having to keep a sharp eye on her to make sure she doesn’t come a cropper! I can not believe how much our girl has grown, how advanced she is now, every day she amazes me, I love being a mother, motherhood is wonderful, I am fulfilled. I find myself writing in my diary, trying to capture every little thing that Julia has done, no matter how small, as I know these moments are fleeting, and I want it all there, caught on the page, so that in years to come, I can look back, remember and smile. I take many photos ( and videos ) of our beautiful girl, not just posed ones, but photos of Julia playing, walking, eating, doing her every day activities, I want to catch it all, as time goes by so quick, I am still amazed that it is 14 months since our gorgeous girl was born! At this very moment I have photos of Julia printing :)

The photos of Julia wearing her pink t.shirt and leggings were took at my dad and Pam’s house, the t.shirt was a gift from them brought back from Majorca in the Summer, this is the first time Julia has worn it and it is still a little too big, but never mind, the writing on it made us all laugh :) We had a lovely time at Nanna and Grandads house,Julia exploring, climbing, walking, laughing and ‘reading’ the TV magazine lol, Julia loves any reading material, she loves to flick through the pages, we have a budding reader here!

I’ve put some photos of my Enid Blyton books here ( as mentioned in the previous post ) I used to love Enid Blyton when I was little, and was very sad when my mother gave all my books away, but now, my collection has begun again! I saw on Ebay some very good deals on Enid Blyton books, so they’re an early Christmas pressie to myself, which will bring such joy to not just myself, but Julia too, I am so looking forward to reading these to Julia! My favourite was the Happy Hours Story Book, and my favourite within this book was the stories of the Happy House Children, such wholsome, innocent, happy stories :)

I’ve just ordered this, this and this Christmas book, which I am really hoping arrive soon so I can read them before Christmas ( 2 are coming from the US so I am guessing they’ll probably not get here before Christmas ) but not to worry, I will enjoy these books at any time of the year, as the stories within them sound so lovely, homely and magical, and let’s face it, I love Christmas so I can read about it and enjoy it any time of the year :)

I was trying to buy A Christmas Dress For Ellen and The First Christmas Stocking, but they’re both so expensive to buy in the UK ( in book form, I don’t have a kindle ) for some reason? If you anyine knows where I could buy these books at a reasonable price, I’d be really grateful if you would let me know :)

I’m crocheting a Christmas stocking each for Julia, John and I, to hang on our fireplace on Christmas Eve, ready for Santa Claus arriving :)

Well, better get going, Christmassy things to do :)

Thank you for reading, bye for now :) x

What beautiful weather we have been having recently in the UK! Absolutely gorgeous! We’ve been making the most of it, as, if I know the British climate, it wont last, lol :)

Little J has been enjoying herself in the pool, oh how I wish I could fit in with her, lol :)

Maybe when she is older and we get a bigger pool I can share it with her :) After her play in the pool we dried her off

and put her in her pretty baby grow and sun hat, as, although it was hot enough for Little J to sit in the garden in just her nappy, I was rather worried about her catching the sun, so we covered her up and let her play on the grass for a while, which she loved! What a happy baby we have :)

On Saturday, John, Little J and I all went to Hylton Castle with my dad and step mam ( Pam ), which is just a 10 minute drive from us,

It is lovely here, I love anything historical, and visiting castles and the like is one of my favourite things to do, especially on a beautiful summers day. We walked around the castle and grounds

and then went back to my dad and Pam’s for tea, Little J enjoyed playing on the carpet :)

Today I am busy in the house, doing the washing, housework ect… Mondays I always try to get the housework done, so it is all nice and tidy for the week ahead, and I just have to do small jobs daily to keep the house clean and fresh, but at the moment, I am enjoying a nice cup of coffee, so thought I’d pop on here and do a new post :) On Friday I bought the new A Vintage View magazine which has just come out, this month it is the 1960′s…

Fabulous!

Also, this weeks normal Woman’s Weekly magazine is a World War 1 special

Which has a free 24 page magazine inside

It makes very poignant reading.

Well, I think I had better get cracking now, this house wont clean itself! I hope you all have a lovely week, thank you for reading! Bye for now :) x
